The Hall was decaled open by Roy Brown Mayor of Charnwood Borough Council, Mike Preston Leader of Charnwood Borough Council, Roger Wilson Chairman of Leicestershire Countu Council and Thomas Chaplin Chairman of the Village Hall committee. About 50 visitors were able to see the benefits of the renovation:- New Toilets, Disabled access, New Kitchen, hall extension and decoration. Ratcliffe have successfully bid for a grant of £30,000 from Charnwood B.C. This money will be used towards the renovation of the village hall which will include new toilet facilities, new kitchen and an extension to the rear of the hall for a meeting room.
